Sunday Roast

A Sunday supper, but seriously who knows what day it is these days. They’re just so.darn.long. A lot of sweetness but woah, just woahhhh. Anyways this is a simple and affordable cut of beef, a bone in chuck roast, that literally melts in your mouth. It’s got some not so usual spices for a beef roast but you really can’t beat this combo. The vegetables are definitely straight from a bag  besides the potatoes because I swear if I cut fresh carrots and shell fresh peas the kids can see it from a mile away and refuse. So frozen forever🙌🏼

3 lb chuck roast

1 medium onion

2 garlic cloves

1 tsp salt

2 tsp pepper

1 tsp curry powder

1 tsp cumin

1   14.5 oz  (regular size can) can of tomato sauce

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

Combine all ingredients into crockpot and turn on high. Cook for 5 1/2 hours and add:

3 diced potatoes

Cook for another hour and add:

1 package of peas and carrots or about 3 cups

Cook for another 20-30 minutes
