Spiced Roasted Chickpeas
These are ADDICTING!!!! A high fiber nutrient powerhouse, the humble chickpea is my absolute favorite vegetarian protein source. Snack on these as is or add them to a salad to replace the croutons. Salad perfection!
-Drain 1 14.5 ounce can of chickpeas
-place them on a sheet tray
-add a generous glug of olive oil to cover all of them
-add a sprinkle of salt and pepper
-add 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp cumin, 2 tsp smoked paprika
-run your hands through the beans to evenly coat them with the spices
Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes or until they reach the crispiness you like!
